Hello Gang, It's newbie here, I brought a used BC Northern Lights for $800 and it basically only comes with lights and units. I am starting out learning about the growing process and I have few questions, so please be patient with me. I have just setup today, added in RO water and General Hyrophonics Flora Grow according to dosage recommended for clones, which is 2.5 ml per gallon. I am wondering since this unit only feed twice daily for only 5 minutes each, will the little roots inside the rockwool become dried out? It sit on top of the water and not long enough to touch the water / nutrient yet. Given the fact I am broke and have no money to spent on clay balls, is it okay if I just have rockwool sitting inside the cup alone? Perhaps I'll add in the clay at a later time, but I am pretty broke at this moment. Thanks in advance from a newbie!
