Last week the BC Marijuana Party came to my college allong with some other parties to try and get support. It was hillarious, we were walkin the halls at our lunch break and i see this hippy and his hippy wife (seemed a bit out of place) then we walk to where all the booths are set up and i just look up and see this big banner filled with marijuana leafs. The guy just looks at us and says "you guys look like cronics" and gave us this info on why it should be legalized. - take money from organized crime - move BC's #1 cash crop from residential homes into farms - free up the police force to deal with real crimes (very low on man power as it is) and so on. It was funny seeing the conservative party right across from the BC Marijuana Party. The conservative party was the olny one i had a problem with though. Chatted with their local leader and his stance on marijuna kinda pissed me off since every other party i talked to (local branch) was either pro legalization or pro de criminalization.
