BC Black Gold Walk-Through

This is how i make oil in BC Canada.

Image 1.) Besides the weed, this is what you'll need.

• 5gal Pail with a hole on each end of the lid
• Ice cream pail
• 2 large 1litre cups
• small funnel
• gatorade bottle
• Pyrex plates
• coffee filters
• elastic bands
• 4litre jug of "Methanol"
• cup or laddel

I only use methanol. Oil made with isopropyl ends up tasting like isopropyl and thats crap!

Image 2.) Add you weed and methanol into the pail. It is important to be as fast as you can. Quickly empty the pail through the hole(s) on the lid into an ice cream pail. This quick wash eliminates most of the color that gets absorbed if you were to leave the methanol with the weed for an extended period of time.



Image 3.) Use an elastic band to hold the coffe filters onto the 1litre cups. Then use a cup to pour the methanol through the filter and into the large cups.



Image 4.) The filter process removes this junk that would otherwise be in your oil. Each large cup was filtered 2 times. This was all it needed to become crystal clear. I know people who go as extreme as filtering the methanol an incredible 16 times. I feel that its not nessecary.

Image 5.) Pour the contents of your large cups back into the ice cream pail (after washing and thoroughly drying it). Put the funnel into the gatorade bottle and with your cup or laddel, fill up the gatorade bottle. Use the gatorade bottle to fill up your pyrex plates on the stove.

Note: Use extremly low heat!! You dont want to boil the methanol. It only has to be lightly heated to encourage evaporation

 

Image 6.) You can use multiple pyrex dishes to speed up the process. Once the methanol is evaporated, let the plates cool.
