Battling moochers, help!

    Alright, so here's the deal. I'm living with two other weed smokers, but I'm the only one with a job, so I'm the only one that can actually afford weed on a regular basis. I smoke by myself a lot and generally just buy a quarter that needs to last for three weeks (I only smoke like half a bowl when I'm buy myself generally, it also helps to keep tolerance down), but that means I usually do have at least a small amount of bud at all times.

    The problem is that they are ALWAYS asking me to smoke them up, it's nearly impossible to just sit back and toke without someone coming in and being all "hey can I hit that". They also have a couple of friends who are also always over and expecting to smoke. Now, all of these people do occasionally have weed and are very generous when they do have it, they smoke everything they buy within like 24 hours. I always try to match but usually they're like "oh it's fine just smoke me up later" but I smoke them up a LOT more than they smoke me up. They're constantly (as in on a daily basis) trying to get me to smoke them up because they smoked me up like a bowl three weeks ago.

    I can't lie and say I'm out, because they know I always have at least an eigth on me, and I feel like a bitch for smoking in front of them and being like "you can't have any weed it's mine" but this is expensive enough that I either have to find a solution or basically quit buying weed. I always try to just be like "hey you know like I have to budget for this shit, I can only smoke so much, blah blah" and they're always like "yeah totally I understand" and then wait like three minutes and keep asking.

    I always feel like a bitch when I say no but I'm not a fan of spending this much just smoking up other people. And even if I do say no in a nice way, they kinda just ignore it but I don't want to be like "whoa back the fuck up and get a goddamn job if you want to smoke all the time." Help?

    That's a tough situation man, especially since its not like they're hypocrites and refuse to smoke you up when they actually have it. Maybe buy a small portable vape that you can hide from them so they won't know you're smoking?

    u just have to smoke on the low and dont let them know you have weed and shit, i used to have to live like that when i was living with all my brothers and step brothers it was just a big ass house of pot heads

    That last line is what you need to say. Be like look I'm not gonna pay to smoke others up all the time. I'd put a stop to that shit and only smoke when no one is around or in your room by yourself.

    Stop smoking their shit, and they won't expect to smoke yours.

    Or, keep your stash separate from what you're smoking on, maybe a hit or two in the bowl. When they pop up like snoop dogg in half baked, tell them they're too late.

    I'm probably one of the most generous pot head around always smoking my friends up. Doesn't bother me, but yet again I'm not 14 and have a job that pays favorable wages.

    I don't want to have to hide my smoking though, especially when I'm one of the only people paying rent/bills! (out of the four moochers I'm talking about, two actually live in the house and one pays rent, the other two just stop by literally all the fucking time)

    I kinda talked to them today and was just like hey like I'm not trading around with bud anymore, my stash is my stash and I'll match but I'm not going to smoke yours without matching/giving you cash because I've gotta be better about watching how much I'm spending on this.

    Honestly I don't really expect that to work because a couple of these people are like chronic moochers but we'll see what happens.

    Other advice is still welcome though please!

    Yeah, if I had money I wouldn't care haha. But I'm a broke college kid working a minimum wage job and paying bills for myself and a horse... gotta stretch my pennies lol.

    Haha absolutely. I just feel bad because even though I've spent this entire thread bitching about them, they are the sweetest people and will always be there for you and are very "what's mine is yours" so they also kinda assume "what's yours is mine", you know?

    Normal moochers I can just be like "no fuck off" but it gets a little more complicated when I know they'd smoke me up without a second thought if they had the money... they just don't.

    Get a pocket book, and everytime you smoke them out mark it to the left of their name, when they smoke you out mark it to the right of their name.. Let a month go by and explain the situation with the facts and evidence you have collected.

    That's how all moochers behave, of course they offer their pittance in exchange for your bounty. Get a clue bro, you're a provider. Start acting like one.

    I feel you I'm in college as well, but got a scholarship soo. Man that's a big burden lifted.

    Unfortunately I can't think of any easy way to fix this problem. If it were me I would probably go out of the house and find a place to smoke, or do it in the bathroom or when they're not around (which is probably never cause they're jobless)
    Honesty is the key here, though, if you want to smoke comfortably without being bothered. Tell them the first time a sugar coated reason as to why you can't smoke them up, then when they ask again be a little more honest. Say something like 'come on guys, I smoke you guys up a little bit too much and it's starting to really cause a rift in my stash/bank account when I have to account for multiple other people on a daily basis. I don't want to be a dick but it's really starting to be a problem'

    With roomates and situations like this, you can always ask for something in return that isn't monetary especially if they aren't working.

    They're addicted to your supply of weed, so you should be able to enslave them with the threat of taking it away. Have e'm make dinner for the house a few nights a week and take out the trash, maybe a back massage here or there, or cleaning your car?

    I would just let them know wutsup and explain that people just need to smoke their own stash cuz you need to make it last.all the people that said hide it are hilarious.lmaoo.who does he have to be afraid of.were all adults
