I want to have a remote grow for eight plants, so probally two light domes. so im guessing 2-4 bulbs, does anyone know how much these would draw power wise per day? also are there low power lights?, and finally could the lights provide heat for the plants in the dead of winter with ventillation?
I assume you want to grow in a shack or other enclosure that has no electricity. Batteries won't run the kind of lights you need and certainly not for the amount of time you need it to run. Relying on lights for heating can be problematice because the plants won't be heated during the dark cycle.
definately need to know what kind of light u are using. When in flowering, if you run your lights at night it will help keep the room warmer. Say 6PM they turn on and 6AM they turn off. Helps alittle bit but as toasty said it can be quite problematic. - 42o -
