  1. What a fucking trip. I went to this movie sober, and when I came out of the theater I was completely disoriented. I almost felt like I was in Gotham City. This movie is intense. I was totally absorbed into the movie.

In this movie, the bad guy's plot is to, of course, destroy Gotham City. But, he's not your ordinary loser bad guy that's going to use a bomb. No, no, no. This is a Batman-style villain. His evil plot is...to dose the entire city with a powerful hallucinogen and give them a bad trip! Hilarity aside, it's a great storyline that really builds up Batman into more of a hero than I ever saw him as. I appreciate him much more than I did before.

I highly recommend this movie to anyone, and if you go under the influence of something fun, you're almost guaranteed to have an intense trip.

  2. Yea, this movie really surpassed my expectations. One of the best batman films. And prolly the best acted. It's deeper and darker than I expected.

    I recomend it as well.

There was some great comic relief lines too.

  3. i think its pretty damn good, i like how his parents were filthy rich, i'd die to be that rich

  4. I thought it was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like, was his weird voice when he was all dressed up... Kind of cheesy...

  5. Every single Batman movie SHOULD have been dark and deep. Think about it, all the other super-heros you read about in comics or watch on TV/big screen have super-powers. That's why they're super-heros. But Batman on the other hand is doing it purely out of revenge for the killing of his parents. It's not that he has super-powers, it that gets got an obsession with revenge. It literally consumes him. Which is why even after killing the Joker he continues to go after other criminals because he's never found closure.

  6. went to it stoned, was sick as hell. then when i got home my friend and i looked at one of the old school 60s ones, probably one of the most retarded movies i have ever scene.

  7. Mustard: just so you know, that the Joker didn't kill Batman's parents in the comics, only in the movies..

i'll probably see this when it's out on dvd or something.. i don't like spending $10 to see a movie once without pause to get up and go to the kitchen..

  8. one word, torrents

  9. uhh, what? is that his name? i've only seen that comic once, it was like Batman Legends or something, it was a book, but a comic BOOK.. tells the entire Batman story..

    damn Batman is the shit..

  10. I think he ment you should download the torrent for Batman Begins and watch it at home for free.

Anyway, I saw this movie and not being a Batman fan, I can't say I was that impressed. Better than I expected, but not super great.

  11. I thought it was okay and just okay.

  12. I thought it was great considering it wasn't cartoony and stupid like every other batman film (except the michael keaton one). Every piece of his equipment was explained and shown how it worked, etc. So it made it believable, plus all the little things thrown in there and comical reliefs to piece the story together was great. I didn't like how his voice constantly got raspy as he wore the suit, but i heard that something on the suit presses against his throat to make him sound like that...should have explained that in the movie I guess...

But overall, it's definately a movie worth dishing out 10 bucks for.

  13. Regardless, my point still stands. Batman isn't out saving lives because he feels like being a nice guy. It's because he's constantly seeking revenge for the murder of his parents. Whether it be Joker in the movies, or just some thugs in the comics.

  14. true man.. batman is unique.. no powers, but is super rich and super smart, but even he has his mental problems..

  15. hey, i went to see it on sunday, it's pretty fuckin' good.. it's really dark and has more of a story to it than batman 2 and on.. i think the reason his voice is raspy in the suit is because he is bruce wayne, people know who he is and he doesn't want to give up his identity so easily..

ya, the movie's pretty trippy with that hallucinogenic drug that the Scarecrow uses, really scary shit.. i've never tripped, but is that how much your view is distorted or is it an exaggeration? the only bad thing about the movie (for me at least) was that it was too damn loud, they could've lowered the volume a teeny bit at the theatre.. and i like how they didn't glamour it all up with i dunno sex scenes or take away from the dark aspect of it..

that's it i'm outta here.. enjoy the movie, please turn off your cellphones and pagers..
