So I have recently cleared out an old non functioning bathroom that I have decided would be the best place for me to do this. There may also be space for expansion in the future. it is a 56"x56"x89" there is currently an outlet a place to hardwire lights and a fart fan installed, let's say they can all be altered. I would like to contain all elements of the operation in this space. I need a flower area, a veg/mom area and I think i can find a place for clones in there some where. I have some drawings to upload of ideas I had for a cabinet in a closet style grow. Right now I am leaning towards sog, and will be using soil(will be making a switch to dwc in the future) With that being said I am looking for advice on how other people would utilize this space, my mind has been spinning trying to come up with a plan on how to maximize what I already have. I am open to any suggestions. Of course I have to add that this needs to be fairly easy on the budget Thanks to all that check this out and if I have left out any details just let me know. Tuna
well what kinda supplies you got to work with light reflective material pumps money but i think it all starts with seeds get seeds germ plant transplant and get them big enough to start taking clones from seed to that stage depending could take months so you only need acouple things of florecent lights i guess cool white is the cheap bulb that works good so for the price of seed and some cheap lights you quite well to being on your way another worth while investment which i wish i used from day one is an aero cloner get a pond pump or watever and some sprayers and build yourself a version of this aero cloner i tell you they best thing goin for cloning 100% success
Thanks for the reply, right now I have four seedlings under 6000 lumens of cfl in a small cab. I will have a couple hundred dollars to get the essentials to keep moving, I need a carbon filter because the last grow made my house smell like glade came out with a mary jane scented plug in, will probably continue to use cfls until later in the year. I plan to build something for the space I have some tools and access to others By the way the bathroom has been completely gutted here is an idea for construction:
If it was a bathroom, why don't you justy start with hydro. Get a cheap RO filter that you can hook up to the bathroom plumbing and you are set... -Loki
YES, THIS!!!! I worked in water treatment for like 6 years and I can honestly tell you that from growing, RO filters are WAY better than anything else you can get- even mineral water. The Ph of RO water will always be 7, so its not basic or acidic, just neutral. It also filters out sub-atomic molecules that could impureify your lovely plant(s)!
