  1. I was wondering i play the bass and my favrotie song to play is devils dance from metallica whats ur favorite song to play

  2. I play bass aswell, And I love playing Anesthesia(pulling teeth) by Cliff Burton.

  3. Bass, 3 Days by Jane's Addiction

  4. I play guitar and my favorite songs to jam on are Rock me baby, Crossroads, Don't Step on the Grass Sam, Machine Gun, Voodoo chile.

I love these songs because they are very riff heavy and don't really have a set structure allowing for extended solos.

I don't play bass but I really dig listening to a good bass player. A good percentage of bands have mediocre bass players or they engineer their parts below the rest but when a talented bassist is in a band it pushes them to another level because theirs basically an extra lead player. I really love listening to Allen Woody from Gov't Mule. Hes dead now but listening to their old stuff especially live is just phenominal. I also Love Thin Lizzy for that very reason. Phil Lynott was one of the most talented musicians ever.

  9. Heres some great bass lines for everyone to enjoy (or learn)

I've been playing guitar for 20 years but have never even attempted to learn bass. Maybe its time. Is it hard if you're experienced on guitar? I'm sure some of you play both.
