Pics.. Best I Can Get how often should i water them since they are hydro i water them once a day with a light to medium mist...
My first and most important response is that you should really read about hydro and Ph... I think 7 is a bit high. I am sure of it actually, but I am not expert on hydro growing. 'brown and crunchy' sounds like they may not be getting any moisture. Plants that size won't have roots (as least not the two smaller ones) that reach the water in your res. How high is the water in the res? It should be just touching the bottom of your cups I think. As an aside question... how much air is being pumped into that res water? If you don't already have one.. go get an airstone or two and a cheap aquarium pump and get some air in that water. Keep misting the little ones until you are sure they have roots touching the res. water. Lastly, how close are your lights to those plants? You may be causing yourself some grief with the lights that close (even if they are flouros)... I am sure someone with much more knowledge than me will chime in at some point soon! Good luck!
i water them once a day light to medium and i have a air rock i bought a complete hydro kit it is touching the bottom of the cups barely and the light is 1900 lumens its a 48 inch bulb they are about like a inch or 2 away
This is the problem. Stop watering them. they need to learn that down means water. i think i have given you this advice once before on a different post or someone with your same avatar
They look alright, but here's a few suggestions: -ph NEEDS to be at 5.8... Can drift to 6.3 but keep it within that range. Otherwise lockout will eventually occur. -until roots are out of the net pot, keep the water level at or just below the pots, top watering is fine until roots hit the water, then drop the water level a bit. -18/6 is fine, but 20/4 is suggested optimally. Hope this helps Oh ya, water quality is important too, if your using tap water, let it sit for 24 hrs to evaporate chlorine. Or bubble it for a few hours
well done yoda.... You da master! Distilled is even better, I believe that's almost the same as RO water which is also great, there's next to nothing in the water (0 ppm) giving you a clean base to work with right off the bat.
Hey dude... how's the grow doing? Is everything alright? Post some pics if you can as I am interested in seeing what's new! The Idiott.
