okay i was wondering if growing in a basement during the winter time if you had to worry about the cold? do u sometime have to supply heaters in the room you grow?how much heat does the hps light give off?
We cannot answer this question for you accurately because we dont have alot of information, however, basements can get cold. HPS lights can give off a good amount of heat depending on the watts and size of grow space, but its possible the room has to be heated alternatively when the light is turned off. Best thing you can do is monitor the room temp/humidity with a guage, and have the best setup you can achieve by reading up, and making adjustments accordingly. 75-85 are ideal temps. If space heaters are needed, they arent very expensive. Good luck, and as long as you do your research, youll do fine.
