BAS Aloe Powder :/

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by Hotlavaaa, Jun 27, 2019.

  1. Just ran out of my oz of aloe powder that I bought from Build-a-Soil, and having a REALLY hard time stomaching the price they're asking for it. I know it's "freeze dried, concentrated 200x" but is it REALLY worth $25/oz? I went through it in no time. I can get 8x as much for less than half the price on Amazon.

  2. Aloe vera is easy to grow in a window, just cut off a leaf when you need it.

  3. Can't speak to that stuff. I've always shied away from it because of the cost.

I use this stuff, and it works well. Annoying to store it in the fridge after opening though.

  4. Working on that, but in the meanwhile....

  5. It will be fine without it if you want to wait until your Aloe Vera plant’s are big enough to start cutting on. Got to save that money!

  6. Thanks Prepper. I went kinda crazy last year getting all the stuff you're supposed to have for No-till. Feeling more laidback and economically minded this season.

I think you’ll notice as time goes on, things like Aloe, etc are nice, but not needed really. Especially if you can grow your own inputs, makes life a lot easier and cheaper.

IMG_20160129_120335813.jpg Grow your own and never look back. Aloe is the easiest plant I've ever grown. I've left them in dark rooms without water for months and they were fine. Start 1 aloe vera plant and you'll be able to have aloe for life. I take pups and start new ones each year.
