Sorry bud, I was really rooting for ya. Just think, there is strong genetics there Least that's what I told myself for the 8 months I tried....strain after strain lol I am now on my 1st round of STS..... 2 strains (Blue Cheese and Purple Narwhal #2) following a popular guide and 2 strains (Mr Nice Guy and Purple Narwhal #3) following horticultural guidelines......... 3 wks and 4 days now. I have a male purple male that was started about the same time to compare with - looks promising though lots of pistils too....either way I am going to get seeds from the strains I like Good luck!
End of Week 6 Everything is still running smoothly. The nutrient schedule remains the same for the first 4 weeks of flower so my PPM's and Ph are still the same. The lights are approximately 26 inches above the canopy, which measures just over 1m x 1m now. I'm continuing to train the plants which has been going fairly well. I have, however, cracked one limb from the main stem. The crack is about half way through and doesn't seem to be affecting anything at all after about 10 days. I noticed the first signs of pistols on about 10 to 20% of the tops last night Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
OK, So I've been away for a while. I tried to upload as usual but the site was giving me problems. I tried daily for almost a week without avail so I basically gave up. Well it's working this time so here's a 3 week mega-upload haha. So weeks 7 and 8 of flower remained the same as week 6. PPM's stayed around 1500 - 1600 and the Ph is still kept between 5.6 and 6.0. Temperature and humidity are kept consistent at 20 to 22 degrees and 50 to 55% End of Week 7 (Week 2 of Flower) June 3rd Coming along well, getting bushy and dense and noticing some true signs of pistols forming on the bud sites. End of Week 8 (Week 3 of Flower) June 10 Doing some defoliation to increase light penetration through the canopy. lots of bud sites forming and the LST training is definitely helping keep bud formation consistent throughout the entire canopy And week 9 (Week 4 of Flower) June 17 Appreciable difference from week 8 to week 9. Did some major defoliation to keep the light penetrating through the canopy. Also did a full rez change and upped the nutes. The Ph is still staying between 5.6 and 6.0 but the PPM has increased to 1800 - 1900. Temperature and humidity have remained constant. Before Defoliation After Defoliation Morning after Defoliation Some Bud Progression Hopefully I'll be able to stay on top of things from now until harvest! Questions and comments are welcome!
So the pictures for week 9 in my last post uploaded out of order. You are all awesome and smart people, so I'm sure you'll be able to figure out the proper order as well as which pictures are actually before defoliation and which are after until I get a few minutes to edit and fix the post. Enjoy!
