  1. Re-setup my 2x4 tent just to get these babies going. The seeds are feminized Sherbet from Seed Stockers, I received them free as part of the comparitive grow from the Vault, so HUGE thank you to them!

This is day 1 for the babies, currently chilling in the big tent with the other girls. They are in a 50/50 mix of peat moss and Groundswell soil. The pots are some little super thin fabric starter pots, the roots push through them with ease.

  2. Update - Day 4

Babies are looking great, watered them tonight with just a dab of root ruckus mixed in. Still hanging in the big tent with the other girls.

  3. Update - Day 9

Both girls looking good so far. Got moved into their final homes of 10 gallon fabric pots in the 2x4 tent.

Soil is a mix of all my different soil mixes so who knows what all is in there, but should be plenty of organic goodies. Mulch is a mix of fresh cut plants and old dried trim.

Each one has its own light. They are 3500k color temp, 10w x 60 chips, 120watt wall draw each. Nothing great at all and hoping to upgrade them to another QB before flower, but should get the job done for veg.

4" exhaust with inline fan and filter, 8" passive intake, 6" clip fan inside tent

  5. Scored myself a new 200watt QB for these girls. Went with the GEALTH GLS2000. Samsung lm301d diodes (just shy of 301b's) and a Sosen driver (close to meanwell). Biggest complaint is it doesn't have any IR, but not sure it will make a huge difference. Still has 3000k, 5000k and 660nm. Plus at $140 I couldn't pass it up.

Will give a proper update when it is here and hung up. Will be a glorious day because it will officially mean all QB's for me :weed:

  6. Update - Day 12

Girls are both pushing out the fourth node.

  7. Updated - Day 16

These babies are cruising, soil may have been a bit rich but hasn't made them bat an eye. They are big enough now, that I'm going to top them down to the third node and clean off all growth below. They also will be getting a gallon of water each.

As you can tell I added fine pine bark mulch over the trim and all of the seeds that I put down (marigolds and oats) are sprouting all around the girls.

New light will be here later today. Will update with trim and light pics.

  8. As promised pics of new light and trim.

  9. Recovering from the chop nicely, and seem to be loving the new QB. Each girl got 4 crawlers added to her pot.

  10. Update - Day 20

The two new tops are growing out steadily, and I removed the fan leaves at that node. I also pulled up the oat grass (leaving roots). Turned the oat grass and fan leaves back into mulch.

  11. Update - Day 23

Had to "mow the lawn" in their pots again because the oats grow so fast and some of the marigolds were getting big. Also the ladies were far enough along for 2nd topping so they are now 4 headed beauties.

  12. Update - Day 30

Girls are looking pretty pathetic for a minute while the new tops grow out (8 tops now). Think I'm definitely going to kick myself in the ass for trying mainlining without the lst, but only time will tell.

  13. My mind got the better of me and I decided it was best to spread them out a little.

  14. Going to be making some changes here very soon. Have a new 40×40×80" tent on the way to replace this short little 2x4, returning the GEALTH light and getting 2 x 220w QB's with lm301b and meanwell drivers to replace it. Will now have 2 identical 40x40x80" tents both running between 400-440w of QB's. Will also allow me to reach the new legal limit of 8 mature plants after the 1st.

  15. Update - Day 34

Just waiting on the tops to grow out a bit more so I can do another round of spreading them out. Gave them each some Bud Doublin grow and micros with last night's watering. Have also added some red clover seeds into the pots. Still undecided on if I want to try to push them to 16 tops or just get them spread out and flower with 8.

  16. Big changes, these girls have been upgraded to a 40x40x80 tent and will be getting 2x 240w kingbrite 3500k lm301h, 660, ir, uv lights soon. Went brave and split them for 16 tops just to experiment a little. Both ladies are looking pretty silly/skimpy right now. Will post up pics later today.

  17. Update - Day 40

  18. Update - Day 45

Well tried to open them up a bit more and ended up splitting a stem, had to tape it back together to heal. The stems on these girls are just too thick to work with so I'm done trying at this point. Still just waiting for them to grow out a little more and for the new lights to show up to start flowering them out.

  20. Update - Day 51 or Day 1 of 12/12

Got the two new lights for this tent but sadly one has a malfunctioning driver. Replacement driver is being shipped out, but for the time being I have the one light hung and blazing over them.

Decided to pull the trigger last night and flip them to 12/12 so today will be their first day of only 12 hours.

Gave them a final haircut for starting flower and then will give them one more cleanup at 3 weeks in.

    Before the trim
