so last night i fed my two bark scorpions some wolf spiders watch them eat them then went to sleep. when i got up to check on them the biggest one was no where to be found. i checked the whold chage and nothen i want say it got ate but it was alot bigger then the one still in the chage any ideas??
Well if he was significantly larger than the other scorpion it's doubtful he got eaten. Which means he probably got loose, which means you should look for him I reckon.
I hope you don't have any small children around the house. I heard in the 80's-90s hundreds of children in mexico and those with compromised immune systems were killed by their stings. That or other domesticated animals.
Here's a tip. Bark scorpions prefer to hang upside-down. Look under your tables. the key is to look UNDER things. that should help you alot. We had a small outbreak of these in anaheim that arrived here in lumber from Arizona. Look under your bed, also. Every scorpion i eradicated was hiding underneath our chairs, hanging upside-down.
thanks but i never found him and the othr two disapeered too the cages were locked so i think my gf let them out she couldnt stand em but i think there bad ass.
Hopefully she didn't get rid of them. My tarantula got out through a tiny crack in the screen. I didn't find him for a week, and he was just hanging out on the shelf right under his cage. Just curious, but are they capable of climbing on the tank walls?
My question to you is, why the hell are you housing such a venomous animal in your home? Is this a florida bark scorpion or an arizona bark scorpion?
haha neither its a Texas bark scorpion and becasue i love em just like i love my black widows and my praymatis there just so damn amazing to watch after you smoke a few bowles and then watch em eat and then hold em its kinda wired i admit but i just like em iam tryn to get ahold of a nother one but with winter coming i doubt ill find another one.
no they would try but with no sucess they would just chill in this lil log i put in there thats why i think my gf let em go or worst killed em
Thats why I would never have a pet scorpion. LOL
Why would anybody keep one? Nuts!
obviously the wolf spider you fed him had been subject to scientific research and had had genetic mutation In his left testicle, and when your bark Scorpion ate it, it multiplied in size by 20 over the course of seven minutes, lifted the top off the cage, crawled out the window and continues to go on a rampage of raping young toddlers
