Has any one else here watched Baraka? or Koyaanisqatsi... Got to be some of the deepest movies I've ever watched ... If you havn't watched them WATCH THEM NOW! (Spirit of Baraka | Celebrating Baraka, Samsara, Koyaanisqatsi and other non-verbal films) IF you have what did you think?
I watched Koyaanisqatsi a while ago, the music is cool and some of the images are intriguing and awesome but I didn't find any sort of greater meaning in it. It get's a bit exhausting, repetitive theme music (that does have some cool climactic parts) and stock footage that didn't appear to have much of a connection. Maybe I just didn't make the connection cause I wasn't wasn't watching overly intently, or was really high. Still neat to watch though, have to check out the other one.
