  2. Dear Barack,

Your attempt to reform healthcare, which I fully support, is an utter failure. There are no words for the disappointment I feel on that issue, especially when the Democrats had majorities in the Senate and the House. Pulling out of Iraq has also turned out to be a soft commitment, which I admit is the only thing I expected, but not what I would like. Your political capital has been spent on healthcare, and now that we have a piece of legislation that is a far cry from what you promised, and what I and other people wanted, it is not coming back any time soon. I do not expect the President of the US to try to touch the issue of marijuana, period, and I am glad that various states are slowly moving towards legalizing medical use, and even recreational use in the case of California. I am far too liberal to honestly call myself a Democrat, and I am disappointed to say that I will not bother voting in the next election because your presidency has in many ways been a direct continuation of George W. Bush's policies.

    XOXO,

  3. I think he would care but the second he starts caring he will lose support from the Tobacco, Alcohol, Nylon, and Pharmeciticual industries. As well as most, if not all, government law enforcement agencies.

I am by no means a Barack Obama supporter, but I can clearly see why he doesn't support marijuana law reform. This needs to come from the state level because most industries have the national level of government lobbied up the ass to profit off of prohibition.
