Banksy auto-destructs own work after auction, LOL

    Banksy remote-shredded one of his own paintings after it sold for a million pounds and the auction house is apparently not sure if they should issue a refund bc the shreds might be worth more after such an epic prank.

    This painting will destruct in 10 seconds LOL, mission impossible.

    I like the looks on the clerks faces when it was happening...that was hilarious.
    but smart move. I wonder if the auction house noticed there was a shredder in the painting?

    This sounds like something Banksy would do though. Everything the man stands for.... Art Galleries is probably not something he's on good sides with.

    I've read the purchaser has decided to keep the shredded piece.

    word has it Banksey's mad about the entire picture not being shredded

    hes working on a remake ...lol
