Bananas can be nice but...

  1. One of my plants is in its 9th week of flower and is showing a couple bananas. (see pic) Should I be worried? This plant has been great and is flowering like crazy, so I wouldn't mind getting a few seeds out of this. I'm assuming the bananas will shed some pollen? The top of the plant is looking more or less ready for harvest but the bottom is still flowering actively. And did I mention I'm a novice at this? :)

  3. Thanks... it's not me it's my phone... for some reason it does good macro photos. Do nanners go in pairs like this?

  4. Yeah they're nanners

  5. Thanks... I don't really see pollen yet... these nanner things are new as of yesterday I think... so I don't want to yank it off too soon. I do need seeds for my next crop. (limit is 6 where I live)

  6. Thank you Iron-Eyes.

  8. Hey Buzzer, you are always so helpful! Thank you! I do have a loop now: Bausch & Lomb 7X. I'm going to start harvesting some of the upper parts this evening. Down low there still is a lot of new growth so I want to let that keep doing its thing. As you know I only have 2 plants this time around, so want to make the most of it. I already harvested the other plant and by all accounts it is the shit. :passtheshit:

  9. A few nanners aren't anything to worry about, especially for how far into flowering you are. My phone keeps autocorrecting to banners and manners :(

  11. That's actually kind of what I was thinking. Any seeds I get off this plant are just going to be exactly like the mother plant which is all good... I love this thing. :)

  12. I never guessed you had such a dirty mind... of course, I don't really understand it. ;)

  13. I believe it takes about 5 weeks for seeds to mature. I'm assuming that your plants will be harvested by then. I've purposely tried to pollinate one of my plants with pollen from nanners, did not get a single seed. Not sure if any of this is helpful.. just some random info I guess lol

  14. Wow... 5 weeks... longer than I thought. Thanks for the info. I'm going to have to think about what I should do.
