i think i got a ballast out in my garage bbut im not for sure it's like 8 inches long and not very tal or wid and wires come out of each side and the light hook up look like they go to floro lights but it doesn't work very good for floros i'll try an draw a picture ok i drw a picture check it out and tell me what you think
I cant tell from that pic but it usually they are slotted on the sides from what i've seen thats all the help i can give.
HIGH All, it's best to get your bulbs and ballast at a place that sells light kits...fires start to easlily from wrong Ballasts and wrong wireing. Your Ballast looks like it is for a Fluorescent.
yeah id say it was a fluorescent. looks like the type thats used for tropical fishtanks. if it dont work well it may b ur using the wrong watt tubes in it?
