    Hello everyone here at GrassCity!!! I finally stepped up and decided to cultivate some green females of my own! I've now spent the last 2 months growing in closets, cardboard boxes, and rubbermaid tubs with tons of cfls!!
    I've learned alot and im now gonna attempt my perpetual garden. I stepped up my game and snagged a 5x5x8 MarsHydro tent, a HydroFarm Raptor 6 mega reflector! A digital Phantom 2 1000 W dimmable Ballast and a 1000w Hortilux Super HPS bulb and the whole lineup of Technaflora nutes!

    With my cfls I managed to grow my three mother plants, lots of clones, and recently started 3 autoflowers!! All This Is Now In The Tent and shits getting serious!!!!:)I plan to keep it full as possible please allbwish me luck!!! I AM NEW TO THIS so any info or tips is ALWAYS appreciated!!!
    I am gonna be tracking the plants and tent here on the journal often!

    Boy is that 1000 watt going to show you a difference in growth from cfl's! Did you get a metal halide bulb too or just a high pressure sodium? can't tell if that last one was under mh or normal light.

    Yes thank goodnesss I cant wait to see how a plants really suppose to grow!!!. at this moment I only have the hps bulb haha I ran out of money!!. Paydays soon though so purchasing soon! also gotta do proper ventilation soon to cool it all down properly!

    Shoot man, i'm using a 600 watt and my plants have over grown my tent, i only have 7 inches between the biggest and the light and i can't move it up any higher. I already took it off the pullies and tied it to the pole at the top of the tent. Your going to get fabulous growth with a 1000. it's ok to use the hps the whole grow, you'd get more height with a mh during vegs but i bet they kick ass even with just using the hps.

    Good I thought I would be able to use the bulb a whole cycle if needed!!glad to hear that!! Right now my light is almost 3 feet from the plants!. Kinda seems to far haha just didnt want to hurt em!

    3 feet is the max distance you want it i'd drop it to 24 maybe 18 or 20 personally, you'll get more growth. i keep my 600 at 15. [​IMG]

    Im about off work so ill be lowering em soon! im gonna turn the ballast to 75% also.

    Thanks bro, i'm still fairly new too but i'm on my second grow now and i do my research. I lay no claim to perfection! =)

    My first run yielded 381 grams, i'll throw a pic up of it if you want to see. This is a 4x4 grow box i've got em hanging in. I had to harvest about a week early because of a broken exhaust fan i couldn't replace fast enough.[​IMG] [​IMG]
    Might have been two weeks early, the smoke was still good though.

    Damn its been a great couple day! Today the Mephisto Genetics Heisenberg Special auto seeds came in the mail from The Vault!!!!!:) its gonna be amazing! Im gonna go ahead and start germinating em in water tonight til the seed cracks then to paper towels!

    Should be starting my Heisenberg in about a month. Think I might do all dwc 2 per 600 watt box. They'll be my first autos. Your plants are looking great man.
