I am trying to grow naturally a plant by sitting it in my window, so it gets sunlight and that good stuff. I just used some bagseed and planted it like 4-5 days ago. I germinated the seeds in water and got a few sprouts so planted them. One sprout has emerged from the soil but the seed is at the top. It's like a half-inch tall and a little ball at the top with the seed. Is this normal and will the seed break off? Any tips and advice? I plan to move this outdoors once it warms up.
the seed might crack off or you might have to gently pry it off with something. give it a day then try to take it off. try to put the plant in a south facing window so it will get the most light, otherwise it will be really tall and lanky.
