Lol may want to google it and see.. I think you reveg with the buds still on the branch though. I'm not to familiar with it but it's generally down earlier on... I've seen posts of people that successfully cloned lateral flowering plants it just depends on the strain.

The buds... lol the actual buds though... imo leaves will show a shitload of amber when the buds are barely speckled.

Like I said I think it's better off around week 2-3 of 12/12 when they just started budding. Not so much later flower but I really don't know much about it so idk if it'll work later on some strains or not.
