I had my first attempt at topping two days ago. And I'm not sure how it went. I don't have a magnifying to closely examine it. But maybe better trained eyes can tell me. I can't get a picture of it either. But there are couple yellow specs around where the cut was.
No picture no advice. Very hard to do without one. Either which way its not like you can go fix what you did. Let it do its thing.
