Hello all, I seem to have a mite infestation in my soil I noticed this on my last flush a few days before I am going to chop my plants down , I would like to know if anybody could tell me what this bug is, I cannot find this past anywhere online please help I am freaking out , Picture attached to
Do they jump? Kinda look like springtails. I've read they eat dead roots and fungi, also they do leaf damage and in high enough numbers will eat healthy roots. I had them once came in ocean forest soil with no issue but that's my only experience with them. Those are indeed springtails, usually a sign of watering too much, or leaving areas too wet. Fix your water situation and they will go away.
