So, i've been working my way through watching it on DVD for the past few weeks. granted this is one of those shows where the nostalgia is better than the real thing, it's not all that bad... though the acting feels rushed and a little melodramatic/forced at times, it's still not bad. definitely one of those shows that earned it's spot on my DVD shelf. though, i will say it... i really hated the pilot for the spin off about the rangers... seriously cheesy... though, Crusade wasn't all that bad. i wonder what it would be like if it were to be redone today with newer VFX technology and taking the time to tell it's story with more emphasis on the serialization instead of trying to cram too much into each episode. and it's a trip while high. my favourite episode so far has to be "the core is mother, the core is father." i ALMOST felt sorry for bester, until the end.
