B_herb420's EasyRyder aka AK47xLowryder#2 Rubbermaid grow!

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by B_herb420, Feb 2, 2010.

  1. Hows it going GC? I'm growing Easy Ryder aka AK47xLowryder#2 I'm using a big Rubbermaid storage container(for stealth). I have an intake and outtake fan(PC fans). I'm using CFLs with an equal mix of spectrums(half daylight, half soft white). I'm not doing much for nutes. Just using a light mix of miracle grow bloom booster(I've had success with miracle grow). I'm also going to be using 'SuperThrive' while they're vegging. For the soil, I'm using Miracle grow Organic. I'm going to use only water and molasses for the last 2-3 weeks.
I have three seeds germinating currently. I plan to keep the whole grow in this journal.

Hoping to get some nice dank AK47 nuggets.:D

Cool man, oh, and I have used the MG ferts on some outdoor grows in the past. It's always been my experience to use it VERY sparingly. Also, you gonna be using distilled water r/o what?

  6. good luck, i'll be checking in.

  7. Anyone have experience with SuperThrive?

  8. Not personally, but I see lotsa ppl here at the city using it. It's legit.

  9. Yeah, I've heard it's good for root stimulation. Which I figure would be good for an auto, since they desperately need to stay healthy. I hear it is good for sick plants and/or plants in bad situations. I wonder if it would help a plant in a slightly over heated space?

  10. Man to tell you the truth, if you're going to be using the MG soil, you could just save yourself the time, and do w/o the superthrive. Mostly hydro growers use it early, but it's good for soil as well. However, your soil has all the nutes it needs to start healthy seedlings.

  11. I don't know. I have it already so, I guess i'll use it. And even the MG organic has all the nutes?

  12. Yeah man, the MG has nute, but the superthrive is gentle enough to use on seedlings, so you should be ok. It only takes a couple drops.

  13. Cool, cool. I have two of the three germinating seeds(one hasn't cracked yet) in 'Organic starter mix'.

When I opened up the bag of soil, there were big mushrooms growing inside of it. I picked a lot out, but, think that's anything to worry about?

    In cups.

I concur! Ha what part of va you from Sammy? I'm in manassas/warrenton if you know where that is.

And to herb420 ill def be following this and may certainly be using this as guidance and inspiration! Ha a buddy and myself are awaiting our recently ordered beans, which we got 5 of those easy ryders so I can't wait. We had a space in his closet all ready to go but we just found out today that he's going to be moving in a few weeks so instead of the closet we're gonna have to move the lights and cpu fans to a rubbermaid like your shindig.

Do you know if it would hurt the plant if we had to transport the rubbermaid bin for a short period of time without being able to keep the lights on? ..whenever its time to move into the new house..

we were originally planning on keeping the lights at a 24/0 schedule the whole way through since the easy ryders are autos but i'm now considering getting a light timer and doing either 18/6 or 20/4 and that way i can move the girls while they are sleeping and not chance anything!

what is your light schedule man?

  16. There's been a small change in the area of grow. I haven't really had much to update. only 1 out of the 3 seeds I germed sprouted. So, I'll now be doing 2 bagseed and 1 Easy Ryder.

Also, sammyisreddest is partaking in the grow. We're around the same area

  17. Why didn't you tell me about your journal? I'm still waiting on my beans:rolleyes:
Can't wait to try a bunch of auto's under the new 400w HPS.

  18. This was just a bullshit first try on a box I made a while ago. I'm working on a way better box, now. I'm gonna be using 250w CFLs.

I used to have a 400w hps. But, now the cops have it... Those autos are gonna grow perfect under that HPS. What kind of soil are you gonna use?
