B.C. pot grower wont forfeit House

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by WeeD BurPs, May 29, 2009.

  1. so she was growing pot worth more than $100,000 in her home and they were debating wether she had to give up her house as crime-related property.

    she ended up only.....
Craig pleaded guilty at her trial and was given a 12-month conditional sentence, fined $100,000, and was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of $15,000

  2. Victim surcharge? Who did she victimize? Maybe I don't know the whole story or something.

  3. victim surcharge fees are standard with any offence in Canada. Last week I was caught with an open beer on public property and was fined for open liquor container, the fine was $100 and the victim surcharge fee was $25 in total i had to pay $125. The victim surcharge fee goes towards helping people and families who have been victim to violent crimes and such, to help them finanically and to get back on their feet, etc, etc.

  4. better than the crazy ass fines in US and we dont see shit back. BASTARDS
