  1. 1st grow.
    Way over my head.
Limit criticisms to those that are constructive.
    Emoticons are lame. :(

    INGREDIENTS:
8 x Big Buddha blue cheese (seeds)
    1 x 600W lumatek d. ballast
1 x Growtek dual spectrum bulb
    1 x Carbon filter & ventilation
    Pots
    Advanced Nutrients organic range
    etc.

This is my only hobby (bar drinking, smoking and socialising) so I'll try keep it up to date. However, I'm working 7 days a week and not the best at getting my shit together.

  2. Iv'e grown Blue Cheese you gonna love it!Great yielder, very strong weed, a little finicky tho. I would rec. cal-mag every watering to hold offf the def's.

What soil are you using and what water RO or distilled?

Sub'd *trying not to use smiley*......;)

    couldn't help it.

  3. Using Biobizz light mix.
I don't drink the water in Barcelona so I'm giving my kids bottled water.
Blue Cheese is one of my favorite strains, so distinctive imo.
trying (unsuccessfully) to post pix, though not much to look at yet.
Still, pix are good for feedback.

  4. Pix are a couple of days old. Lights are closer and the babies are bigger now.

Forgot to mention in my 1st & 2nd post:
    1.2m x 1.2m tent,
    2 x 24W propagation lights.

  5. Nice .. If you can duy distilled water it's better than the other bottle water choices. zero ppm's and you can put in exactly what the plants need.

Check my thread in my sig. I have three BC waiting to get into the flowering room :hello:

    sorry

I'm gonna send some gardeners over here.

  6. Nice grow bro. Glad to have someone with experience here to make sure I don't fuck up too bad. I'll keep an eye out for the distilled water. It would be my first choice only for availability and cost. Not sure what the Spanish/Catalan is for distilled water but i'll check it out. Gotta go to work now
    but I've got a question
    re: choice of screen.
I've got two types and I'm not sure which one to use.
Problem: one is sturdy and the other is flimsy, flimsy has a larger screen size than sturdy.
    Flimsy: 10.5cm x 5cm, Sturdy: 4.5cm x 5cm.
    Pix later, after work.

  7. imo go with sturdy. Blue cheese buds are heavy.:D

I got some other smiley lovin growers checking your stuff out. They are addicted to emotes soo there trying to re-learn how to post without them lol ..

We have this Mod friend (Unoit)who used to be like you...anti emotes....we broke him and now he's a king user. lol

come by the grower coffee lounge and introduce your self... warning the night time crowd is wierd.

Interested in seeing the blue cheese grown out vertically

    How they doing, any updates!?

  13. Still there, doing well. New set of leaves. Slow going. Photos in a day or two.

  14. They're all looking healthy except 1.
There's 1 little cheesler that's not looking so great.
They've had their first feed on Wednesday (16/02/11).

  15. Oooops! Too early to feed I'm reading. OK: no more food 'til they're bigger.
Any suggestions, re:topping or what I should/shouldn't be doing, are appreciated. I've bought distilled water and a pH meter.
Buying more from Advanced Nutrients next month. So far, I've got:
    iguana juice,
    Organic B &
    Humic acid.

  16. Let them grow before you do anything else. Give them atleast 2 weeks.

  17. Quick update:
    600w operational.
    plants moved to 11L pots.
    Extra ventilation.
Flying to London today for a week.
    Flatmate looking after them.
    Ciao
    Update in 1 week

  18. Looking good man. Your Italian too? Cool.

When does the grow go vertical? Or is it just the light hanging vertical?

  19. No Irish. pero' vivo con 2 italiani.
The grow goes vertical when I slip bamboo (fixed to a screen) into the cable ties [attached to the pot at top and bottom]. I know how I'm going to put up the screen, I just hope it's going to work. I'm not sure when to start training. I guess when I come back from London. I'm trying to read into this as much as I can, but there are some many different opinions on every aspect of growing.
Should I crop at any stage?

  20. Find Red speghetti in IC mag.
