Let's try some less drastic, organic measures first! The fungus gnat larvae LOVE raw potato slices. Put them on your soil, remove the next day, toss them and the larvae! Repeat! Or just block their access to your soil! The larvae need organic matter to live in! Put an inch of river sand on your soil and the larvae starve! Yellow sticky traps also work! Walmart sells peanuts with a bright yellow plastic top, but any bright yellow plastic will do. Mix petroleum jelly with a tiny bit of vegetable oil. Smear a thin layer on the yellow top and hang near your plants. The bugs like the bright yellow and land on it! The goo traps their wings and they die! None of these methods leave any chemical residues on your buds! Granny
Thanks :] Those are some creative ideas. I already have vinegar traps so ill put the potatoes in there :]
