is it ok to use azamax on cuttings that have not yet rooted? I have thrips on a mom plant and we are taking clones today and trying to see if we can treat the clones while they root or will that be harmfull?
Good question, I just Google searched the very same thing. lol Small world! Well... Anyone? Also how safe is this stuff indoors around pets and birds? The directions act as if the stuff is "super" toxic.
I just need to know if the plants will wilt if i use azamax on cuttings before they have rooted or even while they are rooting in cubes? and no! dont use around pets or birds if they will be in contact with the plant other then that just be in a ventilated area!
Azamax is organic and should not wilt your clones. Although, I would not suggest even trying to take clones from a plant with thrips. Get the mother healthy, get rid of your bug problem and then take the cuttings.
FUCCKKKKK, you dont think we can control the thrips better on clones in a dome? they are going to a new hydro room setup so we just wanted to start fresh.
I just think in the long run, you would be better off taking care of your mother and making her healthy. Clones take long enough to establish a proper root system, let alone with a bug problem. How does the new growth look though? Are the cuttings you are going to take affected by the thrip problem? If they look healthy and green then cut them, if they look like shit then don't even think about it.
