Pretty simple...what is a band you like, or have seen live, or come across their myspace, or however you heard of them - BUT, that is relatively unknown. I won't say they were the best band I ever saw or anything, but check out the Secret B-Sides if your into some pretty funky shit. A little background info, me and my cousin were looking for some shit to do one night and a band called the Secret B-Sides were scheduled to play at a local venue. It was pretty cheap so we looked them up on myspace. Under the "About the Band" section was the following: The concept of the band is simple to understand; It's all about three things, 3) Flying saucers, 2) Dinosaurs, and 1) LOVE! Fully equipped with these three essentials the Secret B-Sides are here on the planet, ready to help the good people of Earth get together, feel a little bit sexy, and have unforgettably joyous times. We were pretty much convinced that this band was for us immediately. Check them out if you think you'd be into it, but share some other unknowns for the board. the Secret B-Sides SPACE op MySpace Music â€â€œ Gratis gestreamde MP3â€â„¢s, fotoâ€â„¢s en Videoclips

Talked to the singer a couple times, my wife hung out with him once too because her friends friend was with him. I really liked LLK, My So Called Knife is a pretty cool album in my opinion.
Greenthink, Owl (from Quebec), Headlights, Heathers, Hymie's Basement, I Like Japanese Hardcore, Henery Rollins and The Sweater Band, Islands, Josiah, Julie Sokolow, Julie Doiron (and the wooden stars), Keren Ann, Le Quiete, Man Man, Matty Pop Chart, Me and Him Call it us, Imperial Can (chris clavin's new band), Michael Jordan Touchdown Pass, Mount Eerie (formally the Microphones, also add Julie doiron and Fred Squire for one amazing album), Nana Grizol, Paul Baribeau (& ginger alford), Good luck, Peasant, Pedestrian, Private Dancer, Reaching Quiet, Saetia, Saintseneca, Seabear, Silver Jews, Sunforest, The Weakerthans. mostly lo-fi, or punk or punk derivatives. with some randoms thrown in. all great bands.
let me tell ya 'bout a friend of mine The lead singer is a good friend of mine's step father, and another member was a chemistry teacher at my high school. They have some cool ass songs about herb and psychedelics. "Mushroom Crumbles" is good and you can download it from that site.
Blue Cheer. They're old, but pretty unknown. A lot of people credit them with releasing the first metal album (even before Machine Head).
