Avoiding munchies

  1. Over the last few years I have been an everyday smoker, and I've always gotten the munchies and had no problem. I just saw the munchies as a part of the experience...and food tastes great with the munchies. But recently, I've noticed that I barely eat when I'm not high and eat like a mofo wen I get the munchies and I'm gaining weight. I was wondering, is there any way to avoid the munchies? Other than the obvious health benefits, I find it slowing me down when I'm playing sports and work.
     
  2. mind over matter just don't eat when your high. resist temptation and if you can't and are serious about not eating while high then quit getting high for a bit haha

    i rarely eat when i'm high it brings you down so much faster
     
  3. try drinking a lot of water before u smoke

    others have suggested eating fruit while high
     
  4. buy something to snack on with a huge quality that you would have to work to get it edible such as sunflower seeds or something in that nature. works for me :)

  6. keep a bowl of delicous fruit nearby. A mango, papaya, guava, and other delicous fruits are SOOOO good stoned and


    they are healthy

  7. Carrots are good. Low in calories and fill me up pretty quickly :)
     
  8. It just ends up as mind over matter. Also remember that when you eat, you're going to decrease your high.
     
  9. go do something besides of thinking about eating. I started exercising.
     
  10. All I eat is fruit and vegetables and grilled chicken salads. I hardly ever pig out on junk. Random times I cant resist but generally I don't.
     
  11. can't you just smoke some more after you eat?
     
  12. A little OT, but why does eating decrease the high?
     

  13. I could be wrong but I have read somewhere that it is not a good idea to exercise after smoking/while high.
     
  14. Eat before you smoke
    Drink water
    Just don't eat.
    When you get the munchies, smoke again lol..i do that sometimes and just delay the hunger for later.
     
  15. what works for me is to drink water before and while smoking and then chewing some gum
