Avoiding Burnout

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by The Bacon Man, Sep 29, 2014.

1. I bought an 8th of some dank Girl Scout Cookies a few months back, still have some left (I don't smoke too often). I almost always smoke at night, so burnout isn't an issue. The past few days I've been burning with a few buds during the day, and when I come down I get super tired and get a headache, but after a couple hours I'm fine again.

What can I do to avoid this? I use a Gatorade bong usually. It is very good bud too, I don't know if this contributes to it. It is at or at least damn close to medicinal quality.

2. Good strong coffee. works for me real well.

3. redbull or coffee or just pass out if you dont have shit to do

4. Keep Hydrated. Drink water while you smoke, drink water while youre high, drink water while youre coming down, drink water before you smoke again. None of my friends drink water when theyre toasted cuz "It doesnt taste good" meanwhile Im chugging an old 2liter bottle full. Ill let you guess who feels burnt out

5. I usually try to keep hydrated, but I notice I don't while high... good advice man. I love the taste of water but I guess I'm just too couch locked to do drink haha

Thanks to the above posters also

6. try switching to a new smoking method for once to see if any change happens. also are there any stems in your hits

In order from fastest to slowest, I suggest doing 2 of these:
nicotine (a ciggerate always helps me wake up a little bit)
exercising (maybe a .5 - 1 mile walk)
caffeine
time

In order from most efficient to least:
time
exercising
caffeine
nicotine

If I ever get burnt out I just go for a walk have a smoke (I don't smoke regularly)

you cant avoid burning out.

what goes up, must come down

burning out is the come down. the effects of your brain after uptake of chemicals

depending how much i smoked, sometimes the only thing that will get rid of the burnout is a long nap

more weed also helps. But that just prolongs the ultimate result which will get worse the more you smoke after each burnout to avoid a burnout

try to not smoke so much a few bowls should do it for you. also dont hit it too hard. i wouldnt suggest energy drinks or coffee as they arent healthy and shouldnt be made a habit. i find that when i wake and bake i feel the most tired and just cant seem to have much energy for a while.

11. smoke more, then you won't come down.

i'm a problem solver..

12. Yeah H20 keeps ya good. Also getting a Tolerance helps but not in a good way lol

13. I've found that my burnout only lasts for about an hour or so. If I can make it through that hour without falling asleep, I can pull myself out of the burnout. A cup of coffee usually works well, too

Happy toking!

14. Smoke in a paper and you'll be straight but blunt shit you gonna be tired as fuck.

Stoner Athlete
Train Insane or Remain The Same.

15. Do something that keeps your hands busy
Play video games
Drink water
You won't avoid the comedown but
It will be easier if you occupy your brain with something else

16. All about water. The dehydration is what causes the headache. And most ppl get munchies and eat terrible food and sugary drinks. And that makes it worse. (Myself included)
