Avoid or get rid of foggy mind day after smoking?

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by dokhollidai, Nov 9, 2014.

  1. So I used to blaze all day everyday in high school until I was 20 years old. Seven years later after being in the military, going back to school, getting married etc, I decided to pick up some dank to unwind in my downtime, perhaps I am just feeling nostalgic. Anyways, I've noticed that the day after smoking my mind is rather foggy, and I was wondering if there was a way to avoid this? I've never noticed this before, but then again I never had anything really important enough going on to really need a clear and fully capable mind. I read on other posts people just say to smoke more, but this is not an option for me as I am on track to graduate summa cum laude and I need to be fully functional in my academic work. Anybody found a way to either avoid or lift the fog that comes the day after smoking?

  2. Tolerance buildup, otherwise no I don't think.

Cold shower, physical exercise, and light meals (that dont sit heavily and make you tired), some fresh air, these things help me. I avoid coffee.

  3. Smoke less to get high,
Smoke more frequently to build tolerance, so you can smoke more and not get as high.

Since you're restarting again, are you using a bowl or a 1 hitter?
Or are you taking straight J's/L's to the face?

  4. that happens when you smoke too much

  5. Thanks, I'll give all those a try

Thanks, I've just been taking a couple tokes on a chillum. Maybe I'll cut it down to like one or a half a toke.

Yea, I'll try taking it down a notch. Thanks

  6. Maybe it's the particular strain you got?

Did you get a good nights sleep afterward? Taking other medication?

  7. Workout and go low carb for a day

  8. Maybe, it's called Blue Dream. No other meds, normal sleep I would say
Cool, I'm gonna go run a few miles and see how that goes

  9. I find this happens to me when I go to sleep high or stay up late smoking. If I let myself come down before I go to bed I feel more clear in the morning, but then again I usually smoke at night to help me sleep

  10. Like a few others said, exercise always works well.

I find that if I start focusing on something and force my mind to perform some sort of cognitive reasoning, it pulls itself out of that funky state. Like I smoked a good bit last night, woke up this morning in a haze. I cooked breakfast, made coffee and immediately started doing homework (reading about increased party polarization in the US Congress). Before I knew it, the wheels were turning completely normally

  11. Thanks everyone for all the tips, they all helped especially getting in a good workout. Cleared me up right away.

  12. Just tolerance build up.

  13. Exercise, and stimulants.

I only advise the first one unless you have a cup of coffee every morning

  14. That used to happen to me when I was new. It'll go away if you smoke more often.
