AVI to DVD

  1. I have a few things in .avi format that I can seem to put onto dvd. I have Nero but it doesnt seem to have the option. Do I need some converter or is there a program I can use?

  2. I use DVDFlick

    It converts automatically... great program

  3. Perfect program. It just takes forever to encode lol

  4. Do you mean to play on standalone dvd player, or just storing the AVI on a spare blank 4.5GB DVD disc to watch later on on your computer? There are countless applications around for getting several vidoe file types to DVD format, they need to be .vob files for standa lone DVD playback. Handbrake is a very popular one.

  5. yeah i'd like to know this as well, every time i try use a program for avi-dvd something fucks up i want to use my big screen for movies

  6. I have nero 9 and it does it. the Vision program>make dvd>import media>burn to disc

  7. I use the media server through my PS3, and keep everything on my HD in avi. Im into my third terrabyte. God bless N-flix. So, when i want to share with a friend with PS3 or any DivX player i can put several movies on one DVD for them, or cut it back to DVD if they dont know what im talking about.

  8. So im guessing it worked out for you?

The bigger the file, the longer it takes...

Also, you can change the setting so it goes faster, you just have to change the priority

    Hope it helped ;)

p.s.- I found its easier also, if you split the movie into chapters...

  9. Yeah I have a lot of my movies on the ps3. Thank god I can hook up my external to it

The main reason I needed it was for my p90x dvds.

    4 workouts-8 hours.

  10. hell yeah man... if I had some weights id do it.. already got the chin up bar

  11. Just go to Academy or some sports store and get one of these. Thats what I use.

  12. how long you been using em? do you like em?

Ive always thought those wouldnt do much...

Im also a big guy, over 6"4... 200lbs

  13. I tried nero. It was trying to do some verification or something. What was that?

I have the 20lbs ones and they've worked well for me. They allow for more range and different workouts than weights. I'm not sure how much you work out with but I'm sure you can find the right resistance that will work for you.

  14. I just found this pretty cool little thing too. Passkey... Its By dvdFab. I got a movie that DVDShrik couldn't handle. So, i found this thing that basically cracks and overrides all the encryption for security and region codes. It runs in the background, and allows you to use pretty much whatever DVD software you want to copy or edit. I used it with Nero... like a charm. I just grabbed the trial version, and was wondering who might know how to clear out my registry, so i can trick the trial and re-install the program later... with a fresh trial period. windows 7 Home Premium

  15. just did shoulders and arms.
i have a set of weights so cant speak for resistance band users.
i like doing p90 good workouts leave you hurting if you go hard enough. im doing it to gain weight and idk what youre looking for but id recommend them to anyone.
easily downloadable off the internet. i converted mine from mkv to avi and burned them to discs that way

  16. yeah that all depends on your cpu. i used to encode on this old sempron 3200. it would take me all day to encode one video.
