i just confirmed my order for 10 northern lights seeds from nirvana seeds, and they should be here in about a week or so. i was planning on growing 2 plants at first, and was just wondering how much of a yield i should expect to harvest. i'll be using 4 23 watt (100 watt equivalent) cfl lights and using 20-20-20 nutes and growing in organic soil in a closet. this will be my first grow, but i've done my homework thanks to the GC community . should i hope for 2 ounces or what? thanks in advance guys!
there are so many contributing factors to yield.... if done right you can get a couple oz's a plant. top, fim and lst them and you'll get more. i hear northern is really easy to grow too. good luck.
sounds like u got good seeds... (i love nirvana)..now give 'em light.. i think u might want to get more..if u dont want to get a h.i.d light,,stick in some more CFL's , u dont need them when there young but when they get close to switching to 12/12 you will wish u had more lights... .gl
thanks for answering steve! i was also wondering how long it takes to grow a plant from seed to harvest. i've read about 3 weeks for grow and 8 weeks for flower...would this be accurate? thanks in advance guys
well for vegitation most people would recommend letting them grow for 5-6 weeks then induce flowering. im currently growing northern lights and gettin ready to bring em down it tells you on the seed packaging how long they flower for , but yea for me its 8 weeks.. although ive given them an extra few days..
