At the beginning of this school year I came up an idea for smoking in my room without attracting unwanted attention. Basically, it's just a supersized sploof that freshens up the air without any lung power. I hooked up an industrial work fan to a garbage bag with a massive sploof on the end of it. The sploof is made of drier sheets, a cereal box with the end flaps cut off, and a paper towel at the end to cap it. It's held together simply by duct tape. The best part is that is ACTUALLY WORKS. We've smoked a spliff and a blunt in our room and had people come in not even a minute later and not realize that we smoked anything at all. You can't see in the pictures, but there is another fan behind the autosploof just in case any smoke drifts over near the door. We have this thing set up pointing away from the door.
Uh, that beast is supposed to not attract attention? What exactly do you tell people that thing is then? A cryogenic chamber for squirrels? + rep for the ingenuity though. Glad to hear it works.
Why would I buy a hepa air filter? This thing was completely free. All of the items were either available for free or donated by a friend (dryer sheets, duct tape). This thing isn't permanently set up. The bag collapses nicely when it is not pull of air, so I just put it in my closet. It's no big deal to pull it out when I want to smoke. I'll post a video tonight when I pick up again.
So I took a video of the system last night, but you really can't see anything. The smoke thins out so quickly that you can't really see it dissipating. I'm going to try using it with my friend's hookah tonight so you guys can see it better.
