Autos in coco

Discussion in 'Coco Coir' started by madamayo, Aug 25, 2012.

  1. So I have a few autos I've started in my perpetual in my sig. They are in Royal Gold coco fiber, no perlite, straight coco. Feed with tap water and flora series, and I'm wondering if this could be an issue with autos in coco?

As I said my perpetual in my sig has them started, have a few other plants as well, but I'm making a transition over to coco in preparation for hydro. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. :D

  2. Don't see how? Nice grow!

  3. sounds good to me. i just finished a la diva auto not to long ago in coco with FF nutes and tap water. never had a problem.

  4. Yep they'll do fine in the Royal Gold. That's one of the best coco's you can buy, BTW. There's a lot of variation in quality among different brands of coco because there's basically no regulation at all.

Not that I'd tell anyone to actually do it, but you can use Royal Gold Coco without bothering to rinse it first because they actually care about the quality of their product and make sure it's a clean, safe coco right out of the bag.
