Love that strain, I grew it during my last grow. Sent from my SM-G975U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Another fun auto to grow was Pyramid seeds, auto purple if you like an indica leaning dark purple variety.
Day 8 for my auto clones. They have all rooted.. That was faster than expected. Only one of the photos has roots, and they have been going a few days longer. Here is the plant I didn't clone, because it was so small. Turns out it's also the one with the structure I want, and probably the buds I want judging by the little popcorn balls on the tips. Ohh well, live and learn. I sprayed one of those branches with sts today (6 days since it flipped). We will see if it's too late, or if that is also incorrect information floating on the web. She's not all that big, but super dense never was. Also did some tying and a touch of defol on the bigger girls. They are in the gangly stage right now, probably pissed at me for taking their pics. Happy Sunday
happy highs. tomorrow will be the day for both of these. 75d, stinking good, and cloudy all over with a tinge of root beer down deep. yum! this kannbia speedy boom. exceptionally floral and sticky. this is dedoverde (green finger). this phenotype is completely different than the other two already harvested. this is a bowl of budZ from the largest of the other two which were definitely sativa dom pheno. i’m guessing the other plant - “falcondedo” - will come in at 2+. very stoney and relaxing. evidently it’s effective even smoking it all day long
Went to check on my harvest from last Sunday. Not quite done, another couple days to get it dry enough. Popped off this and gave it a trim so you could see what the cousin it bud looks like. This will all become hash, because hell no. I ain't trimming this. Super airy bud. Tastes pretty good, smells like blueberry still. This was a bad cross. All three were just like it. Lmao Testing it now, not impressed.
i lol only because it took me three days to trim the dedoverde ijust harvested and it kinda looked like that one. i hung 88 sticks with budZ on them. didnt like it one bit. nice job on yours though!
You have more patience, or less kids man.... No way am I trimming three of these! Those plants came out amazeballs btw.
Not sure that applies with newer cars. I have a 2019 Mustang with a 10 speed transmission. Ford claims better mileage and 1/4 mile times with the auto transmission.
The claim is due to consistency and quicker shifting in regards to the 1/4 mile time from an every day drivers standpoint. Shorter gear ratio with all them gears helps keep the torque up especially with how fast they shift. On stock tires considering launches that makes sense too. With 10 gears the better gas mileage comes from the final drive. The drivetrain loss will always be more with an auto and they are defintley heavier. Tire size and rotational mass will also be a huge factor. You stick drag radials on that manual mustang along with a driver who can throw some gears and it will beat the hell out of that auto i promise lol. I went to a built auto on my drag car for consistency and its easier on the drivetrain. Way faster with the manual and i made more power but i wasn't as consistent and broke alot of Diffs and axles. This lack of humidity is murder. How do ya'll with a/c grow in the summer? I'm not coming up with a good solution, so I may as well throw it out there for some suggestions. Ambient rh is 8-20% during the day, raises to about 40-45%. My ac runs pretty constant during the day, this exchanges air. I'm running a humidifier, but it's no match. Temps 76-79 and rh lately 20-28%. Plants look just fine, but we all know that's far too low.
I respectfully disagree with your drag statement. It has been proven the 10 speed auto beats the standard transmission on the drag strip. In both the Camaro and the Mustang. The 10 speed automatic transmission was a joint venture between Ford and Chevy. They are electronically tuned for the motor the car is running. But,essentially the same transmission. Once again, auto's make perfect sinse.
That’s the kind of RH I deal with inside in the winter when the heat is cranking. Here is what I do. I vent air into the house, from grow. It’s so damn dry, no mold issues or anything like that are a worry. I also use a ‘whole house’ big humidifier in an 80 square foot room. It’s the big kind that can hold like 3-4 gallons of water. hth Cheers Os
I think torque converter equipped automatic transmission cars, are less efficient than manual transmission cars. I know my DSG shifts better and faster than either of them, and gets better mileage. When I was much younger, I was always trying decide whether I liked a Powerglide better than 350/400 turbo trannies. Powerglides were pretty fun when you were rolling, turbo trannies were better off the line. For the youngsters in the crowd, Powergldes were 2 speed auto transmissions, and 350/400 turbo trannies were the more familiar/ more modern 3 speed auto trannies. (I must be a Chevrolet fan ah). I miss talking about this kind of carbon!! Cheers Os
I chopped my Auto Blues x 3 BOG at 72 days yesterday. She was 29” tall and frosty as hell. This one is in a 7 gal, and is recycled reammended soil. For the record, I like 10 gals better. It’s way to hard to train in the smaller diameter pots, and I failed miserably at erecting a straight tomato cage during the grow. But...she turned out good! Here are a couple shots straight from the grow room. I did a pretty good defol a week before harvest. yeah, by 2 tenths of a second and with a slower trap speed. I will say it again, on street radials yes, on slicks NO. Dont beleive all the hype the salesman tells you. He just wants you to buy the car. Your claims are all for stock to stock comparison. No one leaves their mustangs stock, at least not the guys racing them. Plus, the 10 spd autos are tuning nightmares. Ford needs more time with it. The 10R80 (ford/gm 10 spd) is actually the subject of a class action lawsuit because of its great reviews in the f-150s for the past 3 years LOL. clunking gears, hard shifts, and lock ups. The 10R80 weighs 235lbs. The Getrag MT82 (6 spd manual) weighs 108 lbs. The weight difference is only 27lbs from auto to manual and its because they put the autos on a diet to make them weigh less despite the transmission being more than twice as heavy. Autos only make sense for people who dont know how to drive a manual and still want to be "fast", or they are for high HP race/drag cars looking for consistency and ease of use. I had my S13 in the low 9s on an R154 5 spd and it was pretty challenging to do over and over again. My TH400 keeps me in the mid 9s and every single time lol. So yeah bone stock to bone stock comparison with your average schmuck driving maybe, but the moment you start trying to actually race it or put power to it, the manual will be laughing its way down the track. Heres some test results below. Dont worry, the MT82 is the subject of a class action lawsuit also, but no where near the amount of issues the 10sp is having. "Swapping the 310-hp 2.3-liter turbo four's manual for an automatic yielded modest improvements at the test track: its zero-to-60-mph run dropped a mere tenth, from a respectable 5.1 seconds to 5.0, with the quarter-mile pass shrinking from 13.7 to 13.5 seconds but with a 3-mph-slower trap speed of 99 mph." "Away from the test track, the 10-speed automatic's strengths are less pronounced, particularly when it comes to fuel economy. The manual four-cylinder Mustang coupe's EPA estimates are 21 mpg city and 31 highway, with the automatic good for only 1 mpg more on the interstate. Opting for the EcoBoost's Performance package, however, drops the 10-speed car's figures to 20 and 29 mpg. We averaged 21 mpg with the manual car and 20 mpg with the automatic. For the GT, the 10-speed is worth 1 mpg extra in the city to the EPA, which rates the automatic coupe at 16 mpg city and 25 highway. Yet we only managed 16 mpg overall versus 19 mpg with the stick. On our 75-mph highway fuel-economy loop, the automatic GT returned a so-so 24 mpg." "We've logged similar complaints about the 10-speed's tuning in our long-term F-150 Raptor pickup, in which the transmission would often stumble under harder use as it rifled through its range of cogs."
I believe the converter stall speed and the differential gear ratio have a lot to do with old school power to the pavement. If I want to do a old school burnout and create clouds. I need to turn on my line lock for the front brakes, and turn off the traction control. But, it only wastes rubber. Hit the gas and these new cars launch,no screeching tires or burn out pits needed. I'm not a Ford guy, just always wanted a Mustang. I've owned all makes, foreign and domestic.
I've owned many standard transmissions. I have MS and occasionally have trouble with my legs. As far modifying my Mustang. I have not and don't plan on it. It has plenty of power for this old guy. More power than my 1965 or my 1967.
