I'm currently using a 1200w GreenGo LED light to grow my plants. Recently I've gotten a timer to automatically turn off the lights from 12-6 and it was working perfectly for awhile but only recently I've been noticing problems. I tested it again today, lights went off at 12 came on at 6 and I said that was that.. came back in at 8 and the lights were off. My automatic timer is a TNDHD002
Intermatic T101. Stupidly mechanical, Nearly indestructible. They will run for decades and never miss a cycle. $50.00 I run several of them. Installed them for a living for 30 years. Don't think in all that time I ever actually replaced one. BNW
The one I'm using currently is a simple AC plug in. How would you hook up one of these to a grow light?
Chop a heavy duty extension cord in half and wire into the time clock. I've done several this way and they work quite well. Neutral is the large blade on the cord. BNW
