  1. thread title says it all!

    is it possible?

  2. Yes, it won't stop the flowering. I think most run autos on a 18/6 schedule for max growth.

  3. i have to be honest thats a rather interesting question. i would guess it would all depend on how long you had them in 12/12 if it even matters at all... If its only been a week of 12/12 than i would say just kick it back to 18/6 no problem. People do this with plants all the time to sex them early and usually there are no mishaps. The fact that you did this midflowering though i think will actually help you. Ruderalis(autoflowering) trigger into flowering by age not a photoperiod. Since light doesnt really affect when the plant buds, i dont think it would play much of a role in herming your girls. This is very interesting though. Like i said im not for sure but some sound grow logic makes me think your in the clear to put them back to 18/6. keep us posted though

  5. 18/6 was the original cycle as recommended but due to worries about space i switched to 12/12 about day 21 and shes currently on day 54.I lsted andthere are 20+ pistils on each flower but theres not much bulk or body to any actual "buds" as of yet so i was thinking it may be due to lack of light but, Buddha88 you say light energy doesnt matter in terms of budding?

  6. all autos are best @ 20/4 lighting from start to finish

  7. No light energy matters a ton in terms of budding. What i meant is that autoflowers can bud with either 20/18/12 hours of light. Its really up to the grower and their preference. However the amount of light will affect how long it takes for the plants to finish. Using 12/12 it may take 10 weeks to finish instead of 8(just an example). Dont worry about the size of your buds though. I know that sounds stupid but MJ grows its bud sites first and then fills them out. They wont really start to swell until the last few weeks of flowering. As long as your noticing a good amount of buds forming the size will come later. I would put your lights back to 18/6 though. It may stress them out a bit but i dont believe ruderalis will herm due to fluctuation in light. In order for that to be true, autos would have to be affected by a photoperiod and theyre not. any idea what youre going to do with it yet?

  8. im gonna switch them to 18/6 in a minute.i was worried about height and heat issues before but she seems great after the lst and im also picking up another fan later today so im gonna take the risk.

thanks for the advice Buddha and co.
