What to do about nutes?

  1. Move veg + autos to bloom nutes

  1. Hi! Never used autoflower but keen to try an experiment - wondering if you could help me find the best way to do so.

I am running an Ebb & Flow table w/ supplemental drip that holds plants permanently in vegetative state. Using Advanced Nutrients A/B. My plan was to introduce a few autoflowers into the mix. Due to ebb & flow, this means all plants share same nutes.

Would you suggest moving all plants on that table to bloom nutrients? Would my veg plants be okay for the month or so it takes for the autos to flower? (Keeping all on 16/8).

Any suggestions would be helpful. I have additional space I could move the veg plants to if needed. Thanks in advance!

  2. I use the same 1-part solid fertilizer from seed to harvest, so this is possible.
That means this fertilizer is the average of veg and bloom.
In your case, half veg and half bloom will probably be fine.
Those autos will prefer at least 18 hours of light.
They'll be ok with less, but that will reduce yield.

  3. Was gonna say the same thing, lucas formula or heads formula just make sure you dont nuke anything. I assume you will be rotating plants to flower out and clones into the table.

  4. Nice, man. Decent idea keep the table full with some autos.
