  1. Total noob please let me know.
I've attached a photo. Plant is 27 days old. It's white diesel haze autoflower. Under a 250 mh bulb. Seems a bit small? Also when should I change to hps bulb? Thanks

  2. At 27 days old she should be like 2ft+ and flowering....

  3. What is your medium? Autos are not a good idea for beginners - any delay in the growth cycle will result in very poor yields because autos have a short life. Only experienced growers that are able to grow a plant from start to finish with no problems should grow autos. For comparison - these plants are 28 days old from sprout.

  4. Even yours are tiny bud mine are at least a foot tall by that time sometimes 2-3 feet tall just letting you know your right there not a beginners best friend here's a pic of mine the one in the lower left hand corner is about 4 weeks and upper left hand corner the ones barley in preflower are about 2 and 3 feet tall and just a big ol bush all of mine end up like this as for the person who started this form you need different soil you don't have any perlite I do 50/50 perlite and soil don't use miricale grow, anything that feeds them is a no no and soil must drain extremely well for good growth [IMG]

  5. Too small of pot I use 7 gallon fabric pots for all my autos you'll thank me 50/50 soil perlite mix is key as well you could do 1-2 plants under that light in 7 gallon fabric pots get the 12 inch bottoms no bigger I've used both 14 inch and 12 inch and I get bigger plants in the 12inch 7 gallon I've been using fox farm ocean forest soil and perlite mix and start feeding veg nutes week 4-6 depending on when preflower starts I feed two weeks after the first week of pre flower veg then go into flower nutes start at 1/4 strength then 1/2 strength then 1/2 tell they fatten up bud wise the 3/4 strength I recommend following a feeding chart I use general hydroponic nutes and sometimes Humboldt master a and b calmag and ginormous that's it the idea is "keep it simple stupid" I average 3-4 ounces per plant sometimes 2 sometimes 6+

  6. My plants have been lst'd from the first week and topped twice - I prefer wide plants with about 25 colas as opposed to tall plants. Different strokes my friend - I really don't know how tall they would be had I not topped and lst'd - nor do I care. I yield over 8oz. per plant consistently with only a 5 week veg - that's more than double the yield you get with your tall plants - yield is all that matters.

  8. Where talking autoflowers not photos 5 weeks veg there pre flower at 3-4 weeks but that's not bad 8oz per plant I grow 9 in a 4x4 yeild is about 20-30 ounces dry I don't think that's bad for 2.5-3 months time with a mild lst I've got one that is Definitely 6+ ounces a auto northern lights x big bud I'm planning on swapping over to Coco coir next time just saying your plants look way shorter than mine and yeild wise that's pretty good idk how to bend autos without pinching and doing all that I'm afraid I'll stunt them doing a lst I wanna try a scrog but not entirely sure how to scrog autos

  10. Like I said - different strokes my friend. 20-30 oz. per grow with 9 plants in 7 gallon pots is admirable. My last grow I yielded 17.65oz. in 14 weeks, in 2.37 gallon containers with just 2 plants. You're using 63 gallons of medium to get 20oz. and I'm using 5.8 gallons to get over 17oz. - I hope your soil is cheap.

  12. dude he uses autos, do you not comprehend that? he gets a harvest every 7 to 8 weeks. he would have 2 harvests in the time it takes you to do one.

  14. I comprehend that dude. The 7-8 week time frame you reference is not what he claimed - he said his grows were anywhere between 2-1/2 to 3 months. 3 months is 12 weeks - my grow was 14 weeks - he could hardly get 2 grows to my one. Do you comprehend that?

  16. Only sometimes can I harvest that early with a auto purple skunk (my own strain) it will finish in 7-9 weeks easy and yeilds me anywhere from 3-5 ounces but I ran out of seed stock have to breed her again only have one running right now while I'm working on breeding most of my autos finish in 10 weeks I find that only very few strains can be cropped earlier but your right this is a auto thread not a photo thread and my next grow you should follow I'm planning on doing Coco coir and my yeilds should dramatically increase I bet I get that 8oz easy one auto planning on running vast and fast and my purple skunk 6 of each under 2 Mars 1600 lights so I should be able to pull a good harvest running my strained to head with one of the leading yeilders and doing 6 of each should have a great side by side comparison and I'm hoping my strain pulls thru as the winner yeild wise it may not be as potent but took me a good while to get the yeilds right Crossing my fingers lol I might do auto pots Haven't completely decided yet

  19. I can I just choose to make the autos yeild my plants get massive 3+-feet tall and bushy I have strains that finish as early as 7 weeks but yeild alot less I could crop about a lb every 7-9 weeks but id rather spend 3-4 more weeks and get as close to 2 lbs as possible I've cleared 2.5lbs in less than 70 days tho last October I did great with two knock off led 600s in a 4x4
