  2. About 8-14days after its popped up above soil is when you want to start feeding it.

  3. I would not recommend that if he is using decent soil. I would wait until about week 3-4 weeks personally. If you go cheap on the soil then sure, I think after the seddling has gotten its 3rd node or so would make me feel comfortable.

Yeah man I'm sure its a basic soil. With any growing medium I'd start feeding at least at 2 weeks. I wouldn't wait 3 weeks or a month to start feeding my babies. Thats just personal grow preference tho ☺

I agree. i tend to underfeed compared to most I see on here. Never nutrient issues until late into flowring when I get a bit more agressive. The Happy Frog potting soil has worked great up till week 4 for me. That being said the pot size would also dictate how often and how much nutrient I would add. Larger pot needing less nutrients.

  6. Yeah nice man. I'm using roots organics potting soil at the moment. First time using it and seems like its doing the job so far, but i want to try happy frog in future grows!!

I was sold when my friend said it is soil for dummies! DING DING DING. They made me a personal soil! So far doing well. I add about 15% more perlite and make a perlite canal with a paper towel tube that goes about 2/3 of they way down the smart pot. I place the soil in about 1/3 then hold the paper towel tube in the center. pack in soil around it then fill with perlite, I place the seedline in its grow block on top of that. So far so good! I do remove the tube when filled.

  8. Glad its working out for you so far man. What kind of nutes do you use?

Nothing through week 4. Then started out 1/4 dose, 1/2 dose, full dose of Beastie Bloomz after that. Yes I know it should only be used the last 2 weeks. Somewhere at aboout week 6 did about 1/8 dose of a nitrogen heavy nutrient that was a 24/6/6 just to finish up a 3/4 gallon jug that needed to be emptied. Flushing now. here is what the Red Poison looks like: yeah jump over to Loki's thread for sure. One day it may even get stickied.
