If the top portion of plant looks ready to chop but the rest doesn't, can I take it and expect the bottom to continue to mature? I am 63 days into an auto "mini gun" grow. (ak47 x lowryder2). Would there be any negative effects from letting the whole thing over ripen in order to let the bottom catch up?
Yes you can, I harvested my main cola and left the bottom growth to mature. I was 65 days into a Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto grow when i did it. the growth under the cola really shot up to replace it, while the under growth started to mature more(95-90% white pistols at the time I picked the top). As long as you have yourself a true marijuana plant, it will survive just about anything you can throw at it. Also the only negative side of letting the top stay on, is that the THC-A/B turns into CBD which is more of a medicinal cannabinoid than Delta-9-Tetrahydracannabinol(THC=White Trichs, CBD=Amber Trichs). Hope this helped bro! -Kushijuana
My blue dream is just the opposite. Lower/small buds seem more mature, colas still with mostly all white hairs. They've began their final swell in the last few days, getting excited as they start to sag Sent from my DROID RAZR using Grasscity Forum mobile app
