Iv collected these images upto now to make a grow journal but iv finally got round to making one now. Im currently using IWS oxypots with plant magic nutrients and im quite happy with the results, i was a little late in getting my tent due to the website i placed order with took about 10 days to deliver so the 4 Auto pounders. are a little bit stunted. Also i didnt do the PH at first and the yellowing of the leaves a few weeks in is a iorn deficiency however when i dropped the PH from 6.5 to 5.9 the problem was gone. Growroom specs: Secret Jardin DR150 Black Orchid air cooled reflector (may change this for parabolic) 600w DS sunmaster lamp & Maxibright magnetic ballast 6" Ruck inline fan & Rhino carbon filter 12 x IWS oxypot 19ltr DWC systems 3 x Hailea 4 way 10lpm silent air pumps Plants 4 x Auto Seeds - Auto pounder 1 x Advanced female seeds- Automatic AK 6 x Feminized Seeds - Blue Treacle Auto So this is week 1 01 Feb 2016 The 4 Auto pounders have broken the surface and placed under a 250w Lumii CFL and top fed formulex at 5ml/ltr. 11 Febuary 2016 Autopounders are just about two weeks old and now given 10ml/ltr formulex and also put in a larger rockwool cube. The one held up by the cigarette packet dried out but i was able to revive and surprisingly she isn't doing to bad now, the top one has done terribly despite how well she looks in this pic. 17 February 2016 (day 17) So i have these girls in the oxypots set up in my old mother room because the tent that was suposed to arrive last week has yet to be delivered. temps are a little low and still under the tiny cfl light. feeding 1ml/ltr Liquid Oxygen 1.5ml/ltr plant magic A&B. Space is tight but all i could do was fit them in like this or risk my cats feasting on them. 23rd February (day 23) Dr150 tent finaly arrived today, all 4 autopounders now under 600w HPS. Girls look ok and im finaly feeling so much better i have the tent. 03 March 2016 (day 32) The 4 auto pounders seem to be picking up there pace now that the roots are in that oxygen rich water with 1ml/ltr or liquid oxygen twice per week and 2.5ml/ltr Plant magic A&B weekly. The propigator has 6 blue treacle and a Automatic AK there was also a Critical auto but it did not sprout this is why there is a empty pot when they go in there individual systems. Plants are entering flowering some more than others and a little stretching going on there too. 08 March 2016 (auto pounder day 37/ day 3 all other autos) A couple days back my 6 Blue treacle and 1 AK automatic sprouted and doing well. Il be putting them into there oxypots in a few days from now. The 4 autopounder plants start having a yellow effect on the leaves which i found out my PH was to high for the roots to absorb the trace metals it requires. 4 day old seedlings. And bellow is my 37 day old auto pounder plants with iron deficiency.
11 March 2016 (day 40 auto pounder/ day 6 all other plants) All the plants are now in oxy pot systems the Blue treacle is now 6 days old and the Auto pounder is now on day 40 with flowering showing. Autopounder is on its last week of plant magic grow at 2.5ml/ltr and 1ml/ltr of Liquid Oxygen twice weekly. The PH of the water is now sitting at 5.9 Looking back i wish i had purchased 6 oxy pot xl systems and put two plants in each system with a water pump in each to make changing the nutrient solution a little bit easier but its done now and after this grow i will get the XL systems and give these away. At about £30 per bucket these sysems are cheap so i don't mind only using these once.
16 March 2016 (day 45 auto pounder/ day 11 all other plants) The new Ak and Blue Treacle are growing nice and fast. the Blue treacle seeds were huge and the plants are growing large healthy leaves, roots have yet to grow out the pot so plants are top fed 10ml/ltr Formulex. The 4 auto pounders are responding well to the PH change and have continued to throw out leaves of pure green no more yellowing. Im not to happy with the light spread of the black orchid shade however i think i will upgrade to a lumitek parabolic as soon as i can possibly with 1000w lamp and digital ballast if i can get the funds together. This week i asked my local hydroponic store to order me in one of those exhale Co2 bags to boost my co2. PH: 5.6 Temp: Low 19.7c - High 22.7c Humidity 52 - 56 Light: 21 hours on - 3 hours off The front most auto pounder plant above is showing very little signs of letting up the growth she will be a late monster i think. This auto pounder bellow is now 45 days old and starting to have a cat piss smell.
19 March 2016 (day 48 Auto Pounder/ Day 14 all other plants) The blue treacle seedlings have grown extremely fast over the past few days with some of the plants having the roots now in the water. within 3 days i hope that every plant will have established a root system into the water. The 4 auto pounder plants to the right are now 48 Days old 7 weeks into a 10 week finishing plant.The auto pounder plant in the front has became huge towering over all the others of the same strain i don't think the auto pounder genetics are very stable all growing at different heights and shapes. I also planted a Super cheese seed today which will be the mother for my next grow and will fill that empty pot i have going. Also my Exhale Co2 bag will arrive within 7 days. Auto pounder is now receiving 3ml/ltr Plant Magic Bloom A&B, 0.5ml/litre Atami Bloombastic weekly and 1ml/ltr Liquid Oxygen 3 times per week. All the other plants are on 0.5ml/ltr Plant Magic Grow A+B and 0.5ml/ltr Liquid Oxygen PH: 5.6 Temp: Low 19.7c - High 22.7c Humidity 64 - 69 Light: 21 hours on - 3 hours off
21st March 2016 (day 50 auto pounder/day 16 all other plants) All plants are growing nicely no problems to report, i had a call from my hydro store to say my co2 bag was now in stock so il pick that up over the next few days and see if it makes any difference. The most ripe auto pounder seems to be developing a purple tint to its flower, il put it down to the cooler temps at night.The fem super cheese seed i planted to be a mother has yet to break the surface its taking more time than id like it too but il give it a few more days before i investigate. Bellow the auto AK and blue treacle auto plants aged 16 days Auto pounder is now receiving 3ml/ltr Plant Magic Bloom A&B, 0.75ml/litre Atami Bloombastic weekly and 2ml/ltr Liquid Oxygen 3 times per week. All the other plants are on 1.0ml/ltr Plant Magic Grow A+B and 1.0ml/ltr Liquid Oxygen PH: 5.8 Temp: Low 18.6c - High 23.4c Humidity 57 - 61 Light: 21 hours on - 3 hours off

Those poor auto pounders from the bottom to the top look like they were heat stressed through their entire life. When you heat stress a plant like that they have to spend more time on protecting their self, than growing to their full potential.
If you read anything you would see the temps and the fact that the plants are under a air cooled shade. it was a iron deficiency and the plants are now pulling the nitrogen from the fan leaves for the last push of flower.
Calm down dude... but heat stress is heat stress, it can't be confused with any other deficiency, so I only stated what your plants are showing me.
There's a reason why I am saying that you should try organic soil you won't see the deficiencies or the problems that you have especially if you amend your soil with sea kelp that helps fight heat stress and other stressors especially Bud rot Sent from my SM-N900P using Grasscity Forum mobile app
