She really took off last night when I put her back in the box. I had to redo my lights so I went ahead and put the 2700k in there. Day 19
Day 20 she is looking great I am starting to think about feeding her more than just water but I have never messed around with fertilizer before I like to grow organically does anyone have a suggestion on what would be good to give her a little boost
She looks about ready for a transplant into the next size up pot.. I'm running the Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil and the FF grow big and big bloom.. happy with the results so far.. the soil is good for at least the 1st month on it's own and the plants always get a nice boost every transplant they get.. about 10 to 14 days they outgrow the current pots.. can slip her out to see just how root bound her sides are getting.. I'll bet she's circled the pot several times..
I was not Planing on transplanting her I read somewhere that it is better to plant autos into the pot they will spend their entire life in. I am also using fox farm ocean with added perlite for more air for the roots I figured autos grow fast so let them little roots run with little struggle. She is looking great with many bud sights. Day 20
Day 24 she is still stretching a little I am getting worried that might run our of room in my box. I still have not have her any nutes yet might be picking some up today
Definitely a healthy lookin girl. You say your worried about runnin outta room.? Too late to LST? Guess it is kinda tall and might be tricky, but with a little coaxing I think you can do it. I vegged mine for a month while training them. By rights they should prob be 2-2.5 feet tall, but cause I trained them the tallest one might be 10-11 inches tall with 9-10 tops. I will always do this to my plants I think, even if they were outdoors and weren't height restricted. But I think either way you'll be fine, she looks healthy. Treat her good and she'll return the favor. happy farmin!
Thanks man and I was thinking about lst at first but since this was my first in door grow I figured to just let her grow but now I am kicking my self in the ass for not. She's got about another 2-3 inches left before her head hits the lights. if I am not able to bend her down abit to stay away from the lights I might just take a bulb out and let her grow and if need be I will throw together another grow box thinking about one of those 35 gallon storage totes from walmart
yes that is true, but it relies on you to give the plant a pot big enough for the entire grow. yours does look like it will benefit from some additional root room. auto's carry on putting roots down for about 6-7 weeks, it's only the last 3-4 weeks where root growth slows right down but, if you don't have much room above ground, there's not much point worrying about the room below ground. I think it will now require you to add additional nutrients. any cannabis specific nutes will work, there isn't much difference in them
Built a new box today she's going to be able to finish in this one, I will be doing a transplant soon I want her to fully show what she is capable of
Hey blades sorry about the time between posts grasscity was screwed up and I could not figure out how to navigate around it. Well here we are on day 45 and she is doing great I have not given her any advanced nutes but I have started to give her a teaspoon of molasses in a gallon of water. The transplant did not go through I had some complications I had put some rocks in the bottom of the pot for extra drainage and her roots were bound up in them so I ends up just leaving her in the same pot. Here are some pics
Day 47 and she is getting some weight on her them flowers are getting far and she is smelling of a sweetness
the end is near for her everyone her leaves are starting to turn light green I could not be prouder how she if turning out
God damn your plant is beautiful < i couldnt go through the whole post but what nutrients are you using? Deffinately subbing Check out my grow too! : http://forum.grasscity.com/micro-grows/1215267-cupboard-1st-ever-grow-cfl-pics-help.html
