It's just about to hit a month. I'm currently using 2 100 watt(23 actual) 6500k cfls and 2 40 watt 2700k cfls. I'm worried that I stunted its growth because I was only using 2 bulbs up until 3 days ago. Do you guys think I could get a decent harvest? Any criticism appreciated

  2. It is a little on the small side but it's only just started to flower so has bags more potential left. Be careful you don't water too often, it's very important to allow the soil to properly dry out. Are you using a nutrients?

  3. No nutrients just watering whenever first 2-3 are dry

  4. So here are a couple pics of a tiny little auto I was worried about until it started flowering (that is when they really take off). It is still small but that is strain related from what I have been able to determine. First pic is about 3 weeks second one is 3 weeks later.

  5. Thanks for the replies. I'm just worried I'll end up with like 10 grams dry

  6. Well this strain I am growing I actually found a journal where some guy only got 1 gram dry... :/

You are about to enter the most important part of it's life. As it flowers it will also grow quite a bit, you can see mine basically tripled if not quadrupled in size. Keep an eye out for signs that she is hungry, keep the soil moist but not too moist, and don't feed her too much. Some auto strains are very nute sensitive, a little bit goes a long way.

I would move the rubber band you are LSTing with a little higher up the stalk and pull her over a bit further. As the lower shoots start to grow more I would LST them as well. Stop LST when the stretch is completed.

These next 10-14 days will be the diff between 10 gr and 20-30 gr if it grows similar to mine. Is it a Lemon Kush?

  7. It's 4 weeks in out of about 9 weeks total, which means the vegetative stage is just about over and the stretch is about to begin.

Personally, I believe that every phase of growth with autos is the most important. When I grow autos I use as much light as I can from day 1, last round went from seed to harvest under a full-spectrum 1kw, 20hrs on 4 off (so simple, don't have to change bulbs or light cycle). If I was growing autos under a smaller light, like cfl's then I would definitely run my lights 24/0 to try and make up for the slower growth rates that are expected from cfl lighting.

At this point, I would be adding 2700k bulbs to your setup, and replace the veg bulbs when the stretch is over.

LOL!! Got a link? I'd love to see the setup. I'm guessing he used a T-12 shop light and never switched bulbs, I've seen guys do that and yield less than 10 grams.... never seen a 1 gram yield before though. He probably would've done better with a windowsill, lol.

  8. This strain is amazing. I've got a mother I pulled out of flower and have had her under 24 hrs light for months. I was told you can't clone these. I have taken approx 60 clones off her and 40 are in the ground and doing amazing. I love this strain. So strong, resilient, damn near fool proof. Great smoke and grows anywhere.

  9. Sorry to revive old thread...but does this have any validity??

The 60 day lemons I have going are super healthy, loaded with trichs and smells fantastic...I would love to clone them but I always thought you couldn't...

Or are there exceptions? Can I 'override' the auto in the plant ?
