august plants....

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by cannabutterking, Sep 5, 2012.

  1. I just wanted to post up my plants germinated at the beginning of august, due to the loss of my other girls. The bigger ones have pre flowers and look as if they are already starting to flower. The one I topped which will be the last picture is only showing a few pre flowers. All plants are 7 to 9 inches. All the seedlings were late germs that aren't growing very fast.

This would be the topped plant. I'm hoping they flower and give me 1/2 oz at least just for my effort. It's more of an experimental run I'm going to leave them in solo cups and see how big they get. It won't be cold for another three months here

I know this.... if you would have "actually" read my post I planted these because the plants I did have died.... And I also stated that this grow is for "experimental" purposes only.... I am not expecting anything out of this just hoping for something. I also might note that where I live you CAN grow three crops a year so that being said thanks for the positive comment...

  4. Depending on where you live, and grow skills, other factors you can sometimes get a nice cola from late started plants. Strain is a factor as well. Indicas will stump off fast in late summer and usually not do much. I've had sativas I started in late July continue to vg and flower at the same time and go all the way into Dec. Typically you don't want to top late season starters. It's better for them to focus all their energy into one cola.

  5. I would consider transplanting into something bigger than the solo cups or you run the risk of these plants drying out and dying. I would hate to see that happen. Even slightly bigger pots with one small bag of soil would be a good investment. Then you could use those pots for next year or maybe an indoor grow. You can even re-amend and re-use the soil. No money wasted....

I was going to transplant when we get moved, I'm in the process of moving three hours away and I'm only gonna take like five of the biggest strongest plants I dont wanna get caught with a shitload if I do get caught. I have to water these one to two times a day so I know what you mean I have a bunch of old 4 gal pots I bought cheap from a nursery. They will go in those as soon as they get to their final resting place.

It's a sativa dominate for sure its just bagseed but it was a real head high not much couch lock at all. I topped the one plant just to see the effects it would have on yield or flowering first hand, I like to see these things and learn the plant. Helps me help myself and others :)

  8. Pointless thread.. but here we go here they are again 11" is the tallest. Two plants are showing balls which is perfect as long as none of the other five show balls I will have my five mothers. They smell dank, kinda skunky. The shortest is around 9".
