I bought a Attwood boat blower for my grow closet. It was a cheap 40 dollar blower, that should push 200 cfm. My question is how to i wire it? I have a yellow and and black wire with no ground wire. I know the yellow is + and the black is nagitive. Im just afraid of the Amps. The box says it draws 2.5 amps. Can i take a normally 2 prong extension cord and cut it in half, and wire the + to + and the - to the - without having a problem. Thanks Evil
Bilge blowers are 12 volts DC and will NOT work by wiring them up to a plug that goes into an AC outlet. In order to use it, you will need an (expensive) power converter. You'd be better off with an AC fan.
